Just Another Day

It's 17 November 2005 and my watch says the time now is 7.40pm..... wondering what should I do !?#$%^&**(&^

Last nite was a busy one, indeed. Here's what happened...

8.00 pm
Took the kids to McDonald in Sect9, suddenly both of them felt like eating burger and fries!

9.00 pm
Stopped by at East India, Shah Alam Mall. Nik bought some stuff, and I too .... hehehe

10.00 pm
Drove back and we had late dinner (almost supper!). Fat! Fat! Fat!

11.00 pm - 2.00am
Packed, packed and packed...

The kids went to sleep quite late as they wanted to wait until we finished packing.... and the teddies too.









5.00 am (17/11/05)
Woke up early to send Nik to airport. We left the house around 6.00am and reached KLIA around 6.45am.

7.30 am
Nik checked-in his luggages and then we had breakfast at one of the cafes there. Cafe mocha, hot chocolate and beef pie.... what a healthy (!?) breakfast to kick start the day!









7.50am
Oops! Time to go. I need to be in KLGCC at 9.00am sharp, so had to leave a bit early.



The queue was quite long... it's school holiday so I guess a lot of people start to travel.



8.00pm
What are the plans for tonight?

Here I am... in the room, sitting in front of the computer....

Nasreen is busy collecting stuff from the kitchen, her room, living area, store, etc.... she said she wants to do 'something' that she learned from Art Attack. Oh no!!!! Her 'creativity' kicks in again.... (I need to be ready to clean up the room tonight once she's done with her 'artwork'.)

Naqeeb is watching his Disney Channel cartoons...

I am busy, I'm confused!

I have been very quiet this week.. no updates, no hopping around leaving any trail of my existence, probably due to the following reasons: 1. Nasreen will be having her exam next week, so I’m busy reviewing her syllabus (and also nagging to make sure she prepares herself). Yes, instead of her reviewing her books, the responsibility – by default – is shifted to me…. Hmm, mothers nowadays. Yes, I’ve been blessed with a lot of wonderful people around me….. yes friends, you! Read on…. Yesterday, around 6.15pm, I was in the middle of reviewing something when I was called for a meeting with one of big bosses here…. And I was thinking in anger, ‘Great! It’s 6.30pm and they want to have a meeting. Don’t they have families to run back home to????” So I got up from my chair and ran down to one of the meeting rooms in Level 5. I peeped through the small glass and the room was dark and empty. They were not even they yet! Heck! But when I pushed open the door, suddenly I heard people screaming and laughing and shouting, “Happy Birthday To You!!!!” and everyone was holding a candle in their hand. Gosh! My colleagues planned a Birthday Party for me. No wonder the department was empty when I left and I didn’t even notice. I was speechless! It was Nik's Birthday

It was my husband’s birthday yesterday and we took the day off to ‘merewang’ while feeling young, kononnya. The theme of the celebration? Reminiscing the days when we were courting back in 1993 minus the snow.... ancient sungguh rasanya! We had our breakfast at O’Brien’s early in the morning and took a slow stroll along the shops in OU and enjoyed every minute of it (at 10am in the morning, mind you, and the shops were barely opened). Later we watched ‘Lake House’ and we were charged RM12 only for 2 tickets (the early bird tickets were so damn cheap, I almost fainted!). There were only a few couples inside and we took the opportunity to sit right at the middle (ikut suka hati), since the theater was quite empty. How was the movie? Hmm… ok la, I would say it was the right movie for the occasion… hehe. A bit slow though, biasa la, romantic piece. The ending part was quite ‘touchy’ and yes, Mr Reeves was so stunningly handsome (oh yes, nampak tua sikit la and still got the looks). ...
