Happy New Year.... Welcome 2009

In a blink, 2009 is just a few hours away, how fast time flies! I was trying to make hotel bookings around KL and surprisingly, all rooms are fully booked. I thought its recession?! Anyway, I must say 2008 is a good year, with a mixture of some ‘not-so-great’ moments…. But that’s the facts of life and they add colors to your life. Career? Hmm…. Ok lah…. it’s always a cycle for me here in *****. Exposed to new field, learned new things, met new people. It’s already a routine for me. Family? We moved to our new house in May and oh! The children birthdays were in 1st and 24th December….. lots of presents to buy plus our 12th anniversary was also in late December….. plus all my nieces’ birthdays and mom’s birthday….. in short, I’m so BROKE!!! Hahahah….. My Life? has been GREAT…. Launched my website some months back, me and my website was featured in a local magazine plus the brand is traveling gradually to corporate offices and I’m slowly getting huge orders…. expanding my borders. I’m als

Between then and now..

My last entry was in March 08 and it’s now July ’08. I’ve been hibernating. Between March and July, a lot of things had happened and still happening, perhaps. It was my birthday in March and as usual, my wonderful friends organized birthday party without my knowledge….. and some got scolded (for calling me to see the ‘bosses’ up there) – in the course of making it happened… sorry Kak Maz! Hee hee It was a surprise ‘makan makan’ with loads of goodies and cakes. Jane was kind enough to go ‘snappy snappy’ while we were busy filling up our tummies… And thanks to those who sent me big big bouquet of flowers (the ‘ho-heg’ gang and also little girl Fara) – and made my new officemates so jealous of me…. Hahahah… April onwards, I was busier than a bee. I was assigned to a new department and this assignment thingy seems never ending! Haiiii…… in the 3 and a half years I’m here, I’ve been adjusting and adapting so many times that I feel like I’m an older version of those Management Trainees (or m

My First Time

It has been more than a week since 2008 Election Day but the topic is still hot and remains the ‘talk of the town’. One refers to it as the political tsunami….. another says that the citizens has spoken… the other feels that it’s time for a change…. and one may think that the citizens are sending a different message – a wake up call. Call it whatever, I’m not going to dwell further on the issue. An unfavorable decision by some may be a desired one by the other half and what has been decided is altogether a joint decision made by the PEOPLE. What I want to touch here is the ‘experience’. Why is it important? Well, simply because it was my first time voting as a citizen of Malaysia… ha ha ha… I did my duty as a resident of Malaysia. I registered in year 2004 – at the ancient age of 32, but for some unknown reasons, I was not able to vote. So this year, when they announced about the election, I was so very excited. I checked my name on the SPR website and yes!!!!! It was there – th

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY y'all!

Miss Einstein - In The Making...

What do I do when I have spare time? Experiments!!!! And you wont be surprise to discover the number of lab equipments that I have destroyed (like Bunsen burners, brown glass jars, beakers, boiling tubes – to name a few) while I discovered my talents and nurtured my interests some 20 years ago… (and not to mentioned how I pissed off the lab teacher with my nuisance). So…. What did I do last (looonngggg) weekend? One My daughter loves ‘cokodok’… with prawn & anchovies, minus the shredded onion and ‘taugeh’ and chopped ‘kucai’. It’s veggie-free ‘cokodok’. Last weekend, I added an egg to the cokodok mixture, half portion of fresh milk and half portion of condensed milk. Of course, a pinch of salt will add to the taste… and voila!!!!! I ended up with a huge basket of rich, creamy and mouth-watering ‘cokodok’, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside….. beats Jamie Oliver! Definitely! Two Every time my mom does her laundry, the whole house smells like Downy (a brand name for fab
