Outdated entry number 199

My visit to Shanghai late last year was great. I was swarmed with work that I just couldn’t find the time to update my blog. Most of the things that I planned to write had been erased from my memory (now that it’s a whole new year, I just wanna make sure that my brain is not clogged with old stuff). Anyway, it was fun and the scenery was beautiful. We went to 3 cities, Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou. I discovered that they still maintain their old way of living, i.e. riding old bicycles in town, wearing big straw hats with frill skirts and blousse…. I felt like I’m going back in time… back to hundreds of years ago… and they still travel via their famous canals…. It was an interesting trip. The pictures will tell all….. New Year Resolutions!?

As always, I know it’s too late for the wish but I want to do it anyway. To all fellow bloggers & friends, near or far, Happy New Year & let’s embrace 2007 as it comes with the hope that we will have a great year ahead. Wah, time flies so fast. I was drowning with work and I felt that 2006 came and went with a splash. New year resolution??? Haa…. I have only 2 at the moment (I change resolution every month and by end of the year, I’ll be lost & not knowing which one that I must fulfill). Anyway, my resolution for Jan 2007 was to cut down on my spending (or shopping, rather!). Debt-free, 0-balance credit cards (well, at least 50% reduction, if not 100%) & to chunk in at least 15% of my salary into my Tabung Haji account (monthly without fail)… Only with 1 problem, with the Visit Malaysia Year, I’m sure there’ll be loads of sale going on, how can I be blamed for excessive spending????
