GOB-BLOG!

If it's not for the love that I have in writing... I would've abandoned this GOB-'BLOK-ger' so many years ago!!!!! Can it be made simple and fast like FB??? It takes ages to upload photos, it takes ages to manage the setting.... limited uploading buttons.... and the list continues.. Sheeessshhhhh....

MEX & Mr T

It was a Tribute Ride to PK Yeoh Well, when they announced about the ride some weeks ago... I was among the early birds who registered. The notice said the ride is about 33km..... Me and Sha went, "oh! that was easy peasy, 33km only. We did more than that every week....." Whoaaaa..... talked BIG laaa.... Nik, me and Ajees As we have been plying the GCE almost every week , and I thought... MEX is just another highway. And little did I know that MEX has multiple hills... seriously, where's the flat road again?? Almost nadda.... ok! When we drove to Sri Kembangan R&R on MEX, my jaw dropped! I said to myself.... whoaa!!! This is serious business man! Ups and downs everywhere..... They gotta be kidding me! Upon reaching the destination, there were about 100++ 'SERIOUS' cyclists, ready to conquer the road (made me shiver all over), escort cars were ready to escort the troop, some familiar faces and of course.. loads of high end & expensive bikes to e

MEX Ride on Sunday

Pssttt.... It's gonna be a hell of a weekend. My first time joining a bigger cycling group. My usual weekend ride with SKCC consists of 5-10 riders (one time it went up to 15) but that was it. This time the group has about 90 cyclists and the number is growing every minute. It's a tribute ride to one of the PCC members who died after his bike was hit by a car on MEX highway a few weeks ago. The group is going to finish the ride he started and it'll be escorted by escort cars along MEX highway and it'll be a 33km ride. Hoping for a good ride.... and to PK's family, may God be with you during this difficult times and may he rest in peace.

Fun Run .... Fun (nottt) Run (yes)

It was the very first time that I set foot (literally) on the Sepang race track to race.... with no wheels though. Just relying on my 2 poor legs! ... and this was for the Energizer Night Race. The overall management of the race sucked BIG time. No words to describe but it was seriously awful. No crowd management... no proper signage... no controls over registered vs not registered runners.... yadda yadda yadda... I can write a whole book on this! Anyway, I completed my 5.5km in 42 mins... not a good record. And yes, I was dragging my body (and butt!) to cross that finishing line with maximum level of effort... LOL! Plus, running at night made it even difficult for me when the whole body system was ready to shut down for the day. But I collected my cert and medal anyway... So, next is the KL Marathon in June.... and this time it's gonna be early in the morning. Much better!

26 March was here...

And so it was my birthday... yet again. I had wonderful times with friends, family, colleagues.... every single one of them. Of course, the main topic was food all the way, the whole day, the whole week. Thanks to those who were very kind to give me nice presents (despite 'the age'.... hahahha) and treat me to good food, and not to mention, the best of all, the greatest time, love and friendship we shared along the way. Let's take a peek of what I gobbled up that week... (easily 2kgs of fat went into my system). Nora & Kak Maz took me to Just Thai in One Utama during lunch and we had this delicious garupa... it was super duper delicious. I was having my meeting when my boss & the secretary brought in this sinfully good birthday cake into the meeting room and got the whole people in there sang me the birthday song! hahahahha... thanks boss! Then Tina & Alan took me out to Sari Ratu during lunch time, and again, I had another delicious fried fish with sambal ki

I see him everyday. Strong and muscular, he takes my breathe away everytime I see him. I normally hide behind the beam every morning, just to take a closer look at him. Handsome and gorgeous as he always is.... I want to have him.... Yes, I wuv u, Mr T!
