26 March was here...

And so it was my birthday... yet again.

I had wonderful times with friends, family, colleagues.... every single one of them. Of course, the main topic was food all the way, the whole day, the whole week. Thanks to those who were very kind to give me nice presents (despite 'the age'.... hahahha) and treat me to good food, and not to mention, the best of all, the greatest time, love and friendship we shared along the way.

Let's take a peek of what I gobbled up that week... (easily 2kgs of fat went into my system).

Nora & Kak Maz took me to Just Thai in One Utama during lunch and we had this delicious garupa... it was super duper delicious.

I was having my meeting when my boss & the secretary brought in this sinfully good birthday cake into the meeting room and got the whole people in there sang me the birthday song! hahahahha... thanks boss!

Then Tina & Alan took me out to Sari Ratu during lunch time, and again, I had another delicious fried fish with sambal kicap (in Jakarta they call it Gurami fish, but this one is Talappia, if I'm not mistaken). Thanks guys!

My lunch-mates took me to Marche @ The Curve and I had prawn fritters, amongst others.... hehehe
Thank you Gee, Balkish, KMaz... I was so sleepy after that ok!

Balkish gave me nice pyjamas from SM. So my color... brown n pink, tq balkish. I know you know that I lurve lingeries and the likes... :)

This is another thing that I like, Harrods tote bag... (and just any bags)... thanks Gee.

This is another story.. My schoolmates tricked me and surprised me at Starbucks Shah Alam Mall. They all gathered there with balloons and all and Emil, the guitar player was singing me a song (with my name in the lyrics!)... hahahha the whole store turned to us.
Thanks ladies, it was really a surprise indeed, and Emil, that was a great song...

Me and my bday cake, Cake Pop!.. and mt Green Tea frap

Me and the balloons... thanks Ina, thanks ladies! You're the greatest! More than 30 years of friendship... this is priceless! Sorry that Fidah n Kae were not able to make it..

I had lunch at Ole Ole Bali, Empire with my mum & my family

I love to buy lotion, and I love Crabtree & Evelyn. Somehow Sha read my mind... thank you Sha!
Note that the middle one had gone missing... hahahha I used it right away!

Nik took me to Shangrila on the night of my birthday and it was my fav restaurant. I had loads of seafood and dozens of marshmellows dipped in chocs.... and I had 3 plates of this seafood (on top of so many plates of other food!) hahahaha.....

Thanks so much dear friends and family.... I would never trade all these for any other things. You all are the greatest and to SINfully partners... i hope this year is gonna be kind to us, Insyaallah.... So far things have been good....

I was supposed to get my Red Kitchen Aid for b'day but somehow I was negotiating with Nik for some other 'thing'.... see if my charm still works... hahhahahaha

Btw, below is the lyrics of the song that Emil sang for me..... Emil, I'm gonna remember this for the rest of my life... hahahhahaha so like fairy tale...

Zura..........
Adakah kita akan berjumpa di sini?

Zura..........
aku terkesima melihatmu di sisiku.

Tapi tak mungkin terjadi
Cinta sejati abadi
Walaupun masa tidak mencukupi
Aku menanti di sini

Oh, Zura!!!..........
Zura..........

Ingatkah engkau?
pada masa yang berlalu.

Zura..........
Ingatkah engkau
kepada aku?

I am busy, I'm confused!

I have been very quiet this week.. no updates, no hopping around leaving any trail of my existence, probably due to the following reasons: 1. Nasreen will be having her exam next week, so I’m busy reviewing her syllabus (and also nagging to make sure she prepares herself). Yes, instead of her reviewing her books, the responsibility – by default – is shifted to me…. Hmm, mothers nowadays. We feel the pressure more than our kids (and we panic even more while waiting for the results to come out). Hehehe. I can’t remember my mother even touched my textbooks when I was in Primary 3. No wonder we grow old faster these days…. 2. I’m having mood swings this week. One day, I feel elated, then mellow on the next day, moody on the following day. Work is adding on my desk, scope is being expanded, news is floating around and remarks are beings smacked everywhere (manage to steer clear of some and the rest sometimes just landed right on my very lap). Don’t you hate it when you are so positive that ...

Angels - Mission Possible...!?

Last week was a week full of excitement for me. One, because I was busy with my work, so the week went by faster than usual…. (meaning: less time spent on ‘termenung’ & missing my husband); Two, my hubby dearest was scheduled to arrive on Friday night (3rd March 2006), the more reason for me be thrilled and eager counting the days; Three, me and the rest of March Angels ( Leilanie & T. Ina ) planned to meet up on Friday (3rd March 2006, also) to celebrate our birthdays and Leilanie had this fantastic idea of challenging ourselves to find gifts for the birthday mommies (and the gifts must cost less than 10 bucks each!) – and Leilanie, I must tell you that this challenge really made me sweat all afternoon on Thursday….. hehehe …and Four, me & my husband (and also the children) planned for a weekend getaway to Cyberview Lodge Resort & Spa on 4th & 5th March 2006. There I said it…..nothing much to say about point One & Two…. but point Three and Four…..definitely!!!...
Yes, I’ve been blessed with a lot of wonderful people around me….. yes friends, you! Read on…. Yesterday, around 6.15pm, I was in the middle of reviewing something when I was called for a meeting with one of big bosses here…. And I was thinking in anger, ‘Great! It’s 6.30pm and they want to have a meeting. Don’t they have families to run back home to????” So I got up from my chair and ran down to one of the meeting rooms in Level 5. I peeped through the small glass and the room was dark and empty. They were not even they yet! Heck! But when I pushed open the door, suddenly I heard people screaming and laughing and shouting, “Happy Birthday To You!!!!” and everyone was holding a candle in their hand. Gosh! My colleagues planned a Birthday Party for me. No wonder the department was empty when I left and I didn’t even notice. I was speechless! I was asked to blow the candles that they were holding and those on the cake (oh! The cake was so yummylicious!) I was so touched. Everybody was th...
