This morning, around 7:50am in Putrajaya, we lost our First Lady, YABhg Datin Seri Endon Mahmood, the wife of our Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

She finally succumbed to the deadly breast cancer, which pain she had endured for quite some time.

Personally, I see her as a very inspiring woman to everyone around her, a supportive wife to her beloved husband, a loving mother to all her children and a respected leader by the society.

All the significant and valuable contributions she made during her life for humanity causes, her passion, strength and patience will always be remembered. She will always be cherished by all, respected by many and loved by the public.

My prayers are with her and my heart and condolence go to YAB Dato’ Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and his family.

‘Semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat ke atas rohnya. Al Fatihah.’

It was Nik's Birthday

It was my husband’s birthday yesterday and we took the day off to ‘merewang’ while feeling young, kononnya. The theme of the celebration? Reminiscing the days when we were courting back in 1993 minus the snow.... ancient sungguh rasanya! We had our breakfast at O’Brien’s early in the morning and took a slow stroll along the shops in OU and enjoyed every minute of it (at 10am in the morning, mind you, and the shops were barely opened). Later we watched ‘Lake House’ and we were charged RM12 only for 2 tickets (the early bird tickets were so damn cheap, I almost fainted!). There were only a few couples inside and we took the opportunity to sit right at the middle (ikut suka hati), since the theater was quite empty. How was the movie? Hmm… ok la, I would say it was the right movie for the occasion… hehe. A bit slow though, biasa la, romantic piece. The ending part was quite ‘touchy’ and yes, Mr Reeves was so stunningly handsome (oh yes, nampak tua sikit la and still got the looks). ...

The Day I Decided To Write Again

I've closed this door some years ago... and I thought I'd be closing it for good.  Even my last visit here was years ago.  Today I decided to open it up again.... and maybe I should start writing again.  So many things happened in the last few years, good and bad, happy and sad... now, I guess, is just the time to share some and to keep them here as memories.
