I realized this morning that I am filing every inch of my pants and blouse…. perfectly… with my flesh!
(read : I am GROWING!!!... in size that is) sigh!!!

I lost a few kgs during Ramadhan and I gained more than ‘a few kgs’ thereafter… I have 3 meals a day (without fail). and not forgetting the ‘munching moments’ in between.

It was months since I last weigh myself on that little machine, which always gives me a heart attack every time I stepped on it. But I know the numbers are now ‘bigger’ – as in the value as opposed to the size – so I pushed the machine to the darkest corner of my storeroom. What you don’t know won’t hurt you… But what I know is…. I fill up my jeans PERFECTLY, meaning they have no rooms for my skin to breathe. Either the jeans shrink or my body yang dah inflate…. aiyyoohh. Sungguh susah hati ni.

I just can’t stop from indulging myself with all the good food (read = chocolate, ice cream, Famous Amos, Starbucks… and not forgetting, my energy booster – rice!!!).

Now, let’s see what’s on my table?
- Chocolates of all kinds
- Milo 3-in-1, coco drink Cadbury 3-in-1, coffee mixture 3-in-1…. All the sweet drinks ok
- Mints and chewing gums (this is becoming a habit already, I can’t survive a day without them)

What is my routine?
- Minimum 4 times week, I will have my Starbucks : Green Tea frap with Choc Chip, whip cream on top OR Iced Toffee Nut Latte OR Iced Mocha Latte. Where? Pusat Bandar or Sect 9 outlet. So frequent that I don’t even have to tell them what I want… they know!
- Rice : a must have meal… if not every day, every other day or else my whole system weakens… hahahha (shivering gitu!!)
- Breakfast : daily, if not nasi lemak (bukan ringan ringan ok), I will have 3 curry puffs from kedai uncle @ my office. The puffs are so crunchy, you just have to eat more than 2. PLUS Starbucks once or twice a week
- Lunch : daily without fail (this is more like peer pressure, even if you are not that hungry, you just have to eat and enjoy the lovely company of your lunch friends - or rather gossip sessions… hahahha)
- Munchies in between lunch and dinner : this is when all the good food on my table will serve its purpose… hee hee
- Dinner: if I don’t eat heavy meals, I will have my Starbucks (either or…)

Weekend?
Starbucks is aleady an agenda every weekend. Nik loves to sit there for hours and relax (so do the kids….) So, need I say more? With all these activities, do I need to step on that little weighing machine and feel depress every time?

Go figure…. hehehe

I am busy, I'm confused!

I have been very quiet this week.. no updates, no hopping around leaving any trail of my existence, probably due to the following reasons: 1. Nasreen will be having her exam next week, so I’m busy reviewing her syllabus (and also nagging to make sure she prepares herself). Yes, instead of her reviewing her books, the responsibility – by default – is shifted to me…. Hmm, mothers nowadays. We feel the pressure more than our kids (and we panic even more while waiting for the results to come out). Hehehe. I can’t remember my mother even touched my textbooks when I was in Primary 3. No wonder we grow old faster these days…. 2. I’m having mood swings this week. One day, I feel elated, then mellow on the next day, moody on the following day. Work is adding on my desk, scope is being expanded, news is floating around and remarks are beings smacked everywhere (manage to steer clear of some and the rest sometimes just landed right on my very lap). Don’t you hate it when you are so positive that ...
Yes, I’ve been blessed with a lot of wonderful people around me….. yes friends, you! Read on…. Yesterday, around 6.15pm, I was in the middle of reviewing something when I was called for a meeting with one of big bosses here…. And I was thinking in anger, ‘Great! It’s 6.30pm and they want to have a meeting. Don’t they have families to run back home to????” So I got up from my chair and ran down to one of the meeting rooms in Level 5. I peeped through the small glass and the room was dark and empty. They were not even they yet! Heck! But when I pushed open the door, suddenly I heard people screaming and laughing and shouting, “Happy Birthday To You!!!!” and everyone was holding a candle in their hand. Gosh! My colleagues planned a Birthday Party for me. No wonder the department was empty when I left and I didn’t even notice. I was speechless! I was asked to blow the candles that they were holding and those on the cake (oh! The cake was so yummylicious!) I was so touched. Everybody was th...

It was Nik's Birthday

It was my husband’s birthday yesterday and we took the day off to ‘merewang’ while feeling young, kononnya. The theme of the celebration? Reminiscing the days when we were courting back in 1993 minus the snow.... ancient sungguh rasanya! We had our breakfast at O’Brien’s early in the morning and took a slow stroll along the shops in OU and enjoyed every minute of it (at 10am in the morning, mind you, and the shops were barely opened). Later we watched ‘Lake House’ and we were charged RM12 only for 2 tickets (the early bird tickets were so damn cheap, I almost fainted!). There were only a few couples inside and we took the opportunity to sit right at the middle (ikut suka hati), since the theater was quite empty. How was the movie? Hmm… ok la, I would say it was the right movie for the occasion… hehe. A bit slow though, biasa la, romantic piece. The ending part was quite ‘touchy’ and yes, Mr Reeves was so stunningly handsome (oh yes, nampak tua sikit la and still got the looks). ...
