As always, I know it’s too late for the wish but I want to do it anyway. To all fellow bloggers & friends, near or far, Happy New Year & let’s embrace 2007 as it comes with the hope that we will have a great year ahead.
Wah, time flies so fast. I was drowning with work and I felt that 2006 came and went with a splash. New year resolution??? Haa…. I have only 2 at the moment (I change resolution every month and by end of the year, I’ll be lost & not knowing which one that I must fulfill). Anyway, my resolution for Jan 2007 was to cut down on my spending (or shopping, rather!). Debt-free, 0-balance credit cards (well, at least 50% reduction, if not 100%) & to chunk in at least 15% of my salary into my Tabung Haji account (monthly without fail)… Only with 1 problem, with the Visit Malaysia Year, I’m sure there’ll be loads of sale going on, how can I be blamed for excessive spending????
BUT….. (notice the capital letters), it’s not even month end yet & I noticed I have the following in my closet:
1. a pair of nice and new walking Nike shoes;
2. a nice shirt to wear to office;
3. a nice jacket that goes with the shirt;
4. 2 pieces of Esprit tops which were on sale;
5. a pair of new sunglass;
And…. I also realized that my facial cleanser is running out (really need to get a new one), there’s a new GUESS handbag which I’m dying to own (if owning a handbag means dying every time, I would’ve been dead gazillion times!), my office shoes are so old, my laptop bag is almost 1 year old that I need a replacement, my eye shadow is almost near extinction….. gosh, the list is growing longer…..
Well, I think I MUST change my resolution then!
Happy New Year guys!!!!!!!

I heard that any resolutions relating to less shopping is a big no-no. We have to support Visit Malaysia year!!! Hahahahah
aiyoh, really kah it's a big no-no. Well, now I have to crack my head for new resolutions then.... sigh!
Nad,
yes lah, every month I'm dying to get a new one .. how?
handbags, make up, toiletries, gym attire, work heels/pumps/sandals/stilletos, training shoes, shirts, pants, skirts are necessities... so they're not luxury items anymore (no matter how expensive they are LOL).
Let's give Kimi a big clap..... U GO GIRL!!!
Thank you Kimi for giving the moral support!! Now let's shop, shall we?
You are so very right! How come they suddenly turn into NEEDS eh?
