My boss just came back from travelling last week…. And guess what I got…… Cupcake box, which actually turned out to be knickers in a silicon cupcake case…. from Juicy Couture – JC. What an odd combo….

You know what…. I already received my bundt pans last week…. And not just the pans, the books too! Yeayyyy!!! And I already baked butter cakes with the pan ….. The texture was not that good though because the cake was not supposed to be baked inside bundt pans…. But the taste was good, anyway! Hahahhahah…… (masuk bakul, angkat sendiri!) Nasreen was trying to help in the kitchen...

My bundt pans will arrive soon as my new year’s gift to MYSELF… muahahhaha I simply cannot resist anymore and finally I placed my order online recently (heck with the shipping charges!). But my favorite Bavaria Bundt Pan cannot be shipped to Malaysia…. Huhuhu.... Am so upset.... Dunno why, they just don’t ship it! Deng! Btw, I got a small version of the pan (it comes with several designs) and another Classic Bundt Pan.. that’s all they can ship. Sighhhh! But 2 little gifts for moi is better than no gift at all, right? So now I am waiting anxiously for that parcel to arrive….. please rush them to me and make me happy, Amazon! Imagine these tiny lil' bundt cakes that I'll be makin' soon.... *drool*

If you like asam pedas, you must try this shop, MIMPU MUOR. Located at 26-1, Jalan PJU 7/16A, Mutiara Damansara, PJ…. this shop promises you nothing but delicious home-cooked food only . The main dish serve is Asam Pedas… cooked in big.. big pots, you will have a choice of Ikan Pari, Ikan Merah or Ikan Jenahak…. and a simple array of other lauk-pauk, i.e. ikan masin, telur masin, fried vegetables, ayam goreng, etc. They also serve other food like Soto or Mee Rebus BUT nothing beats its super-delicious Asam Pedas…. I’m an Asam Pedas biggest fan…. So I can have this everyday for lunch… simply yummy-licious!

The office is full of balloons today….. so nice….!!!! We have our Breast Cancer Awareness Day tomorrow and there’ll be more fun and food! Till then…. Tata For Now (TTFN)!!

If you like char kuey teow…. try this. May not be as good as the famous Penang Char Kuey Teow… but this is quite close ….. for KL taste buds…. J It’s called Aimar Char Kuey Teow. The restaurant is located along Jalan Opera U2/G, Taman TTDI Jaya Shah Alam (next to ESSO station). The kuey teow is so yummy and the satay is simply tasteful and delicious. It comes is a few sizes.. Biasa (Regular), besar (Big), Special.. all with or without ‘telur mata’(Fried Egg) on top. You can also enjoy Otak-Otak & Nasi Lemak packed with daun pisang here. The restaurant is full most of the time but the service is quite fast, I must say. Met my expectations so far…. Try lah….

Being a few days away from the blogging world was quite a challenge. I had so many things on my mind that I wanted to talk about and by the time I was in front of my laptop.. all went ‘ppooofftttt’! Gone…. And my mind now is BLANK… as blank as a piece of new A4 paper … *thinking mode* full of ideas...... then... We were in Penang last weekend; we left KL on Friday morning and came back on Sunday. It was an unplanned, last minute & short getaway... as usual. Our usual holiday was normally on X’mas week because of Naqeeb’s bday and our anniversary. This year, something else was planned during that period and we obediently gave in …. for reasons God knows why… although we know that the destination was not something that we would want to take the kids. That being said, we went along anyway & things don’t go as planned eventually… hahhaha… what a waste! Anyway, we made a short trip to Penang for the kids to enjoy themselves…. and fun was all they had! hahahah.... we had...

For all the betrayal, deceitful, delusion, immature, irresponsible, and selfishness….. …. trust, faith, belief, confidence, allegiance…. means nothing no more. Oh! For the love of God….. if you can't do the time don't do the crime…. God promises a safe landing but not a calm passage.

It was our gazillionth trip to the Aquaria in KLCC (same goes for Petrosains). The kids are just not tired with all these fishes! We drove to Taman Jaya LRT station and we took the train all the way from PJ to KLCC, because Nik wanted the trip to be a bit more adventurous…. :D Smiling ear to ear Look at those piranhas! they have diamonds on their bodies... hehehe He was amazed with all those fishes.. Santa Claus feeding the fishes BBBiggg stringray Those turtles were so cute As usual, the train was full, back and fro, and we had to stand. Yes, verryyy adventurous for my poor feet. We left the house around 12noon and we were back in Shah Alam around 6.30pm. Oh! I was up at 6.30am in the morning for my usual routine – I made only 4km this time, continued for another 3km brisk walking at the Lembah Kiara Park….. oh my poor feet!

Last weekend, I was on my ‘Lazy Mode’. So I made my ‘lazy dish’…. this required less effort and energy. All you need to do is campak campak the ingredients into the pot and ‘voillaa!!’, it’s all ready! So let’s see what I put inside the pot….. GIGANTIC Prawn-Chicken Wanton Soup For wanton: Minced chicken abt 200-300 gm Big fat prawn (9-10) – since I AM a PRAWN lover, I put loads of this. You can cut it into small pieces, if you like. Otherwise your wanton skin will go koyak. Salt n Pepper (I put loads of pepper) Chives (cut into small pieces) Carrot (diced) 2-3 tsp sesame oil 1 tsp corn flour Wanton skin, to wrap the paste Put everything together in a bowl (except the skin) and mix well. Dump everything in and mix 'em all Take a small spoonful of paste and wrap with wanton skin. Brush a bit of water at the joining part to make the skin stick together. Put aside. All wrapped up, ready to be dunked in the soup For soup: Garlic (2-3) crushed Ab...

We have just installed 3 new vending machines in the office, 2 for drinks and 1 for tit-bits… and boy! how the machines sucked coins from my tabung out like a vacuum! My choo-choo train tin was almost full last month, and suddenly….. I have only this much left….. Sigh!!! Coins collection – Reduce Sugar intake – Increase Hyper level – Increase Diet effort – HOPELESS!

Practice makes perfect. But Life is not perfect.... so, why practice? Just go with the flow, live life to the fullest and you'll be fine.

If you think I’m clumsy and blur… wait till you read this… Boss said to Secretary Boss : Can you make 1 copy of this document in A4 size? Secretary : Ok ma’am. So the Secretary went to the photocopy machine and made 1 copy of that document, in A4 size. She marched back to her boss and handed her both documents, original and the one she just copied. Boss : (screaming) Nooooo…. I told you I wanted this in A4 size….!!!!!! Secretary : Yes, ma’am. This is an A4 size….. (puzzled and started to scratch her head) Boss : Not this size…. The BIGGER A4 size!!!!! Secretary : Err…. Bigger? Hmm…. You mean that size (pointing to an A3 size) Boss : yes lahhhh!! That one…!!!! I told you just now…. I was contemplating this morning…. A BIG dilemma. The nasi lemak and telur goreng looked so nice and delicious…. But I was suppose to eat something light today because I have a lunch appointment with friends, and this means eat BIG… hahahha. We are going to Mimpi Muar and Balkish is going to take us there. After so much hesitation, I chose this…. (while drooling at the nasi lemak!) .. what supposed to be my LIGHT breakfast.. :) So we had our breakfast at the balcony outside our office…. The view was spectacular…… (sempat snap snap lagi tu!) Made us feel like the RICH and FAMOUS... hehehe . D apat FEEL pun ok lah...
