Day In Day Out

My day starts at 5.30am EVERY day…. Nope, not on weekdays, but literally everyday.

On weekdays, I will be up at 5.30am to get ready for work and by 6.30am, I am already in the kitchen fixing sandwiches for the kings of the house…the husband and the son. By 7am, I’m out of the house; battling with traffic jam (it doesn’t get better each day and its driving mu nuts, no kidding!)

Then, Nik will wake me up an 5.30am, both Saturdays and Sundays…. If we are not traveling, then it’s jogging/cycling time. Saturdays, we will jog around Bukit Jelutong. I will take the 5km route while he does 10km. Sundays are for cycling with friends. He will join the BJCC cyclists while I hang around my hi-school buddies and average distance we make is about 35-40km. Since we are all rookies, we dare not join the group…. Hahahhaha, makan asap la jawab nya…..

In short, my time spending on the couch, watching telly and munching on snacks is almost ZERO… huhuhuuh… And last weekend, the routine started as usual. We were back from our jogging routine around 9am, we had breakfast at Mamak and by 12noon, we were already out. So last Saturday, the agenda were…

1. Off to Chear Motor to service his bike and I picked him up around 12.30.

2. Then off to Specialized Bike Shop to service his bicycle… (it’s Service Day, perhaps…hehehe)

3. Then Off to IKANO to visit Za Altera as I wanted to send some jeans & pants for alteration

4. Then Off Curve to buy Naqeeb’s stuff

5. Then Off to bike shops (both bike and bicycle)

6. Then Off for lunch cum dinner (it was almost 4pm)

7. Then Off to home to prepare for tomorrow’s ride…..

Yeap…. My days are always full with activities, so if you want to discuss about the drama / soap that’s showing on TV, I may not be the best candidate…. LOL!

Hilang

A Walk to Remember!?

Finally, I’m writing…. The trip to Singapore was fun…. And also, full of crazy moments.. heheh… Clockwise : The Q @ immigration, street performers @ Orchard, moi infront of Far East Plaza, Nik chilling out @ Starbucks Suntec CT & my precious new sandal... I like!! We left KL after Subuh & managed to reach Johor around 10am. The trip was a short one so we decided to leave the kids behind. It was a smooth ride on a cool & very breezy morning with just enough sun all the way (yes, made me sleepy also!). I took some cool pictures along the way and later discovered that I accidently deleted all of the scenery pics from my camera.... *sigh* Sometimes I can be more than the word 'clumsy' could describe... Anyway, we wanted to enter Singapore via TUAS, then I remembered that we didn’t even have a single cent of S$, so we drove down to JB town and looked for money changer. Then I thought…. no harm of taking the Causeway since it was a Sunday and I was so damn sure that traf...

Antara Anyir & Jakarta

I’ve been making regular monthly trips to KLIA since my husband was posted to Jakarta last year. And yesterday….. again, I made my ‘latest trip’ there to send him off (after the recent trip that I had on 3/3/06 when I picked him up from KLIA to spend his 10 solid-days holiday with me and the kids here in KL). Time sure flew fast when you wished for the earth to stop and let you enjoy your 10 days just a little bit longer. Nevertheless, the ‘most awaited 10-days’ was over…..Nik is now back in Jakarta and I’m now back in my office, sitting in my chair, swiveling around every 10 minutes, gazing lazily at the workload dumped on my desk and trying very hard to find every energy stored in my body just to touch those piles of paper…. argh! But the 10-days period was spent joyfully. We took the weekend off last week for a quickie getaway at Cyberview Lodge Resort & Spa…. and oh boy! the resort is spectacular and the view is breathtakingly-beautiful. Of course, the children were the happies...
