Me and My Friends

My circle of friends in the office is the most happening lot, if I may say, albeit our age difference.

Juls is the only person who is at the same age with me, well… she was my roommate when we were in KPP. The other sisters are NBH, Sek Nor and Kak Maz, the leader of the troop. Leader - because she will keep us on our toes and scold us like nobody’s business…. hahaha. Her favorite line will be….. “I clobber your head!”. G on the other hand, is the youngest…. Perhaps she falls into our clan by accident.. hee hee. But we still love you, G!

We always talk about our old days ahead, and how one day when we are alone in this world, we will all register into an old folk’s home, owned by G, simply because she has the money to run one.

Juls is known for being the most ‘calm’ one… as in she will take her own sweet time to eat, drown in her own world (the world of Joe-Adam-Umaq, and maybe Mdm).. hehehe and she will make her ‘signature’ face whenever she’s full… (muka confuse).

Sek Nor-the-tas-hap is known for her polished image, because she needs to portray one being the woman behind a VIP in our Company. Or maybe she likes to look nice all the time. She will constantly touch-up her face and we made jokes how one day she will be busy with her make-up even when going to dewan makan in the old folk’s home!

Anyway, the reason why I discuss about this is because one day while I and Kak Maz were on our way out for lunch, she blurted out……

“I think maybe I don’t want to be your roommate lah!” (and she was referring to the old days ahead)

I asked her why….

She responded….”because I don’t want to be going to the dewan makan holding all your bags!”

And God she looked so serious…..Hahahhaha!! She looked so funny that I stopped walking and we laughed so hard!

I’m known for my obsession with bags (handbags, tote bags, paper bags, u name it). When I go to office, I will have my handbag, my laptop bag, my gym bag and another bag (ad hoc to bring food or drinks or whatever that I feel the need to bring back). And she sometimes helps me carry my bags when we left for the day. I guessed she had it with my bags.

Anyway Kak Maz…. you’re the best! I still wanna be your roommate even if you hate my bags! Hehehe

Hilang

A Walk to Remember!?

Finally, I’m writing…. The trip to Singapore was fun…. And also, full of crazy moments.. heheh… Clockwise : The Q @ immigration, street performers @ Orchard, moi infront of Far East Plaza, Nik chilling out @ Starbucks Suntec CT & my precious new sandal... I like!! We left KL after Subuh & managed to reach Johor around 10am. The trip was a short one so we decided to leave the kids behind. It was a smooth ride on a cool & very breezy morning with just enough sun all the way (yes, made me sleepy also!). I took some cool pictures along the way and later discovered that I accidently deleted all of the scenery pics from my camera.... *sigh* Sometimes I can be more than the word 'clumsy' could describe... Anyway, we wanted to enter Singapore via TUAS, then I remembered that we didn’t even have a single cent of S$, so we drove down to JB town and looked for money changer. Then I thought…. no harm of taking the Causeway since it was a Sunday and I was so damn sure that traf...

Antara Anyir & Jakarta

I’ve been making regular monthly trips to KLIA since my husband was posted to Jakarta last year. And yesterday….. again, I made my ‘latest trip’ there to send him off (after the recent trip that I had on 3/3/06 when I picked him up from KLIA to spend his 10 solid-days holiday with me and the kids here in KL). Time sure flew fast when you wished for the earth to stop and let you enjoy your 10 days just a little bit longer. Nevertheless, the ‘most awaited 10-days’ was over…..Nik is now back in Jakarta and I’m now back in my office, sitting in my chair, swiveling around every 10 minutes, gazing lazily at the workload dumped on my desk and trying very hard to find every energy stored in my body just to touch those piles of paper…. argh! But the 10-days period was spent joyfully. We took the weekend off last week for a quickie getaway at Cyberview Lodge Resort & Spa…. and oh boy! the resort is spectacular and the view is breathtakingly-beautiful. Of course, the children were the happies...
