Sport's Day

KPI set: 1 entry per week

Output: nil
Performance: do not meet expectation

Rating: 4 – Poor

I am doomed! As much as I try to meet the requirement set by my ownself, I failed so miserably last week.
So this week’s submission is as follows…. Naqeeb & Nasreen had their Sports Day (some weeks ago). Due to my procrastination-habit, I decided to blog about it a little bit later…. And now later means almost two months after the event.

Just like I’ve promised Naddy that I’ll blog about my trip “nanti”… and nanti seems like eternity. Sigh!!!!

Reason for the delay? Not enough time, too busy with work, too busy with business, too busy with pets and kids, too lazy to download pictures to laptop. In other words – no reason for the delay.

Anyway, Naqeeb participated in a few events for Year 1 students, and Nasreen was there to provide moral support. She ended up running around the school helping her teachers with prizes and winners lists. I noticed that my daughter enjoys doing charity work ...... but she doesn't practise it at home, hence mama has to follow her from behind to pick up everything that she left on the floor.
Naqeeb won one of the sports events & grabbed 1 trophy for himself. Notice that Nasreen was drenched in sweat as she too, was busy with her activities.

Naqeeb & Qaisara (my niece)

Nasreen & her mama

Note: Reminiscing about the good old days when we were going from school to school for the netball tournament….. Leilanie, ring any bells?

woooooo hooooo

Zura,
oh my......
I think, going for netball tournaments were the best healthy energetic times of my life. I remember, you were always there (at the right places) to catch the ball from me.

I also remember, Kak-Ungku (you know who I'm talking about, right) was always the loudest, dancing and singing in the bus!.
haa haa haa..... now we see her everywhere..... on the stage!

I was smiling from ear to ear reading your comment. Yes, those were the best time of our school days.... and yes, Kak Engku was always the MC in teh group. And she still is... hehe

Agaknya Kak Engku ingat ke kita lagi?

Zura......
I was invited to her wedding.
But I felt out of place..... and was a bit distracted by the then young Siti Nurhaliza..... hee hee hee.

Anyway..... once in a while my mom bumps onto her (or her mom)..... she says she'll call me.... but she never does. Well, I never did, too.

I personally think, the stardom has taken the better of her ......

.......... entahlah.

Hilang

A Walk to Remember!?

Finally, I’m writing…. The trip to Singapore was fun…. And also, full of crazy moments.. heheh… Clockwise : The Q @ immigration, street performers @ Orchard, moi infront of Far East Plaza, Nik chilling out @ Starbucks Suntec CT & my precious new sandal... I like!! We left KL after Subuh & managed to reach Johor around 10am. The trip was a short one so we decided to leave the kids behind. It was a smooth ride on a cool & very breezy morning with just enough sun all the way (yes, made me sleepy also!). I took some cool pictures along the way and later discovered that I accidently deleted all of the scenery pics from my camera.... *sigh* Sometimes I can be more than the word 'clumsy' could describe... Anyway, we wanted to enter Singapore via TUAS, then I remembered that we didn’t even have a single cent of S$, so we drove down to JB town and looked for money changer. Then I thought…. no harm of taking the Causeway since it was a Sunday and I was so damn sure that traf...

Antara Anyir & Jakarta

I’ve been making regular monthly trips to KLIA since my husband was posted to Jakarta last year. And yesterday….. again, I made my ‘latest trip’ there to send him off (after the recent trip that I had on 3/3/06 when I picked him up from KLIA to spend his 10 solid-days holiday with me and the kids here in KL). Time sure flew fast when you wished for the earth to stop and let you enjoy your 10 days just a little bit longer. Nevertheless, the ‘most awaited 10-days’ was over…..Nik is now back in Jakarta and I’m now back in my office, sitting in my chair, swiveling around every 10 minutes, gazing lazily at the workload dumped on my desk and trying very hard to find every energy stored in my body just to touch those piles of paper…. argh! But the 10-days period was spent joyfully. We took the weekend off last week for a quickie getaway at Cyberview Lodge Resort & Spa…. and oh boy! the resort is spectacular and the view is breathtakingly-beautiful. Of course, the children were the happies...
